Hedge, Shrub & Palm Trimming in Manatee County

Overgrown viburnum swallowing the windows, podocarpus running past the roofline, sabal palms hanging dead fronds over the driveway. We bring it all back into shape and take the debris with us.

What's included

Every visit, every time

  • Shape and reduce hedges, shrubs and ornamentals
  • Palm frond removal, seed pod and boot cleanup
  • Clearance cuts off roofs, walkways and windows
  • Full debris haul-off - nothing left at the curb

Why it matters in Florida

Palms get over-pruned constantly here. Cutting above the horizontal (the 'hurricane cut') weakens the crown and slows recovery - we take dead and hanging fronds and seed pods only. On hedges, we trim before June so the flush of rainy-season growth fills in tight rather than leggy.

FAQ

Hedge & Palm Trimming questions

When should palms be trimmed?

Once or twice a year, ideally late spring before hurricane season so loose fronds and heavy seed pods aren't projectiles.

Do you take the debris?

Always. It's included in the quote.

How short can you cut a hedge back?

Depends on species. Viburnum and podocarpus take hard reductions well; ficus needs more care. We'll tell you honestly before we cut.
